Rob Kalb
Mr. Kalb attended the Farrier Science and Craftsmanship class at Cal-Poly Pomona (California) in 1993.
After graduating he served a one-year apprenticeship under one of Southern California's leading farriers. He attended
numerous clinics, among them, Tony Gonzales' clinic on Proper Balanced Movement and applied some of Mr. Gonzales' techniques
to his own shoeing methods and took over some of Tony's customers after he retired. Mr. Kalb successfully cured four cases of
lameness from unknown origins where the prognosis had been chronic and incurable. He currently specializes in endurance horses,
hard to handle horses and those with special shoeing needs. Of the endurance horses he shoes, most all are in the top ten and a
few win consistently. If you live in the Phelan area of Southern California and wish Rob to shoe your
horse, you may reach him at (760) 868-0753; Otherwise:
